NOTICE: ISSUANCE OF ”C” SERIES (64 PAGE) PASSPORT
- This is to inform all Kenyans in the Diaspora that with immediate effect (September 1,2010) the Embassy of Kenya in Washington D.C is no longer issuing “C” series (64 Page) Passports. Anyone who wishes to obtain a new Kenyan passport should therefore apply for a "A" series ( 32 Page) passport or a “B” series (48 Page) passport the cost of which is US $75 and US $110 respectively.
- We do also wish to inform Kenyans in the Diaspora that the Embassy has now stopped renewing 5 year passports (to comply with current immigration regulations in Kenya). Anyone whose passport is expired should therefore make arrangements to apply for a new passport.
- Anyone who wishes to do a name change either through marriage,divorce or deed poll should apply for a new passport.
PLEASE NOTE:
Some application will require you to have the following
1. Recommender: This is a Kenyan of sound mind who can certify that you are a Kenyan citizen.
2. R. Number: This is found on the Biodata page( Page with your information) under "Personal Number". The Number after the Zeros or on page29/30 of a 32 page passport or page 45 of a 48 page passport.
