Online Application for Emergency Certificate

Note:
Applicant's using Mozilla firefox web browser may get a blank pdf (application form) after submitting the online application.
This is caused by a new feature introduced in the new version of firefox called "built-in PDF viewer". To avoid this we suggest applicants use internet explorer ,Google chrome or another browser .

Application for Emergency Certificate should be completed online.
After completion, please download, print and sign the application before mailing it to the Embassy of The Republic of Kenya.
Applications which are not filled online will be returned unprocessed.
After reading the Requirements below, please follow the "Continue with Online Application" link to complete the online application form.

Emergency Certificates are issued only in cases of genuine emergency.

Requirements:

  1. A Money Order or Cashiers Check of: (Payable to Embassy of The Republic of Kenya)
      (a). $20.00 for emergency certificate.
  2. Complete Form 19 (Online application form)
  3. Submit the above form with the following:
  4. Two passport size pictures. (NB: Most current picture taken maximum within the last one month.)
      (a)Clear Pictures. They should not be blurred nor have a dark hue, all facial features should be clearly outlined.
      (b)Pictures with full face and both ears showing.
      (c)Pictures taken against a white background.
      (d)Weaves and hair should not cover the forehead or the rest of the face.
      (e)Decent pictures-ladies should not be wearing strapy or strapless tops.
      (f)Pictures should be without shadows in the background.
      (g)Pictures in which the applicant is not smiling or laughing.
      (h)Pictures should be taken without spectacles.

  5. Expired passport.
  6. Birth Certificate or National ID card.
  7. Letter of request explaining the emergency
  8. A self addressed stamped envelope (size A4) for the return of your documents. The envelope should have enough postage for: Fedex, Express Mail, Certified Mail or Priority Mail with delivery confirmation (NB: UPS, Metered stamps and Regular mail are not acceptable).

NB: Any incomplete application will be returned.
